Before I get to the topic of this article, let me say that I’m really sorry for my lack of posts recently. My schedule has been quite overwhelming, and I’m trying to get so much work done, that needs to be done. Anyhow, you can look forward to my usual fun posts, as soon as I get rid of the piles of work I’m currently faced with. For quite some time, I’ve had a little advertisement on my sidebar, leading to the website of Italian shoe designers Superglamourous. About a week ago, I got a cool gift from them and I decided to share a bit on the company with you, as well as their gorgeous Lookbook.
Superglamourous brings back the Lombardic shoemaker excellence and turns it into tiny–but–exclusive selections of easy–fitting babouche: a remarkable and precious handicraft where the good taste and sobriety, as well as the Italian shoemaker quality are the values that rule every product. The easy–to–pick–out Superglamourous products are handmade by worldwide known Italian shoemakers; the manufacturing process, called “a guanto”, consists of sewing backwards each part of the babouche and turning them round again at the end… the result of this long–lasting process is a babouche extremely flexible and skin-tight.

The Head Designer, Riccardo Libertino was born on October 1986 in Milan, where he grew up and began his professional training. Attracted by the abundance of male fashion, he devoted himself, without becoming a fierce insider. He loves experimenting. After a capital experience as a freelance designer, he chose to engage in an ambitious and stimulating project, called SUPERGLAMOUROUS.
Make sure you check out their Website, Facebook and Twitter.

Those of you have been my blog supporters from inception know how much I love Marc Jacobs. No one can attest to the fact that he is one of the biggest masterminds in the business, and in everything he does, whether it’s for Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, or Marc by Marc Jacobs, there is always a high level of creativity and perfection. Tapping on male model Leopold Nilsson and photographer Lorenzo Marcucci, Marc puts out his latest lookbook for his Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Like most of the time, the collection has a very quirky inspiration to it as it displays the ideal essentials for the S/S 2012 season. Zeroing in on details, the Marc Jacobs man takes on looks like the summer suit and trench, the cardigan, sunglasses and beaded accessories, along with an iconic gold-plated lace-up, amazing bags and a shimmering gold tee. I love the incredible fusion of relaxed silhouettes and classic pieces, which allows Marc to set the standard for an effortless mix of work and play when approaching the new season. Marc Jacobs is simply a Style Genius and this is definitely my favorite lookbook this season… No doubt!
